about

Mother Of Thousands is a badass succulent with a badass name. This thing actually does self-multiply in the thousands, and it looks like a rabid velociraptor. If you want to grow it, keep it confined, because it will take over, and even jump from pot to pot.

The track itself features piano, Korg SV-1 rhodes, and a meditative hum. Just a case of listening to the track, noticing myself unconsciously humming, and hopping in the vocal booth to lay it down. The low root of the vocal is doubled and pitched down an octave with a slight formant-shift to the dark side (I guess towards a Ü or a Ö or something... the formant knob was just left-->right).

Carefree romp in downtempoland.
