The oldest succulent in my collection, so old the fingers are turning grey. Still kicking though... Succulents seem to grow as big or small as you'll let them, kind of like bonsai trees. Mine remains in a small pot, but has grown a thick tree-like trunk. I hope it'll stick around for years to come, disclosing succulent wisdom to those who listen.

This was the first one I started for the album. The bassline is Image-Line's Harmor, with a slight synced phaser cycling through the first few harmonics (gives big sound systems a nice workout). You may recognize a similar bassline patch in "Night Writer". Le Piano chimes in again here as well.

A lesson in funk restraint. Gollum Fingers is set up to let loose in bombastic glory for a mere 45 seconds before retreating to dreamland. I think the entire point of the track lies centered in a single synth riff, located at 4:24. This sort of hypnotic low-tempo grooviness is what I love most, and why I keep returning to it.
